ALDI Australia partners with Camp Quality to support kids impacted by cancer
ALDI Australia is proud to support Camp Quality through a three-year partnership, committing to $1.5 million in donations and on-going fundraising support for children impacted by cancer.
Camp Quality provides services and programs to help children aged 0-15 years of age who are dealing with cancer, whether it be their own diagnosis, or the diagnosis of someone they love, like a brother, sister, mum, dad or carer. Camp Quality’s much-loved programs include Kids’ camps, Family Camps and Fun Day and the Primary School Cancer Education Program performed by the much-loved Camp Quality Puppets. With the motto “laughter is the best medicine”, Camp Quality's mission is to ensure kids facing cancer have the chance to be kids again.
ALDI’s partnership also sees the retailer contribute to the charity with a yearly cash donation, employee volunteering programs and proceeds from products sales, which will raise awareness for Camp Quality among their customers.
Since our partnership launch in June 2020, ALDI has contributed more than $2.1 million, enabling over 2,400 kids facing cancer to attend a Camp Quality camp, where they will get the chance to just be kids again and create positive memories that change their cancer story.
Camp Quality’s mascot Giggle made the partnership official by going to meet ALDI Australia employees at the ALDI Darlinghurst store.
Supporting Big Ride for Little Kids
Proudly supported by ALDI, Camp Quality’s Big Ride for Little Kids is a fun, virtual cycling challenge for all ages.
During the month of March participants can challenge themselves to ride 100km, 200km or 300km and fundraise for kids facing cancer.
Australians anywhere can get involved and ride for two weeks in many different ways, on the road, in the gym, as an individual, with a friend or as part of a virtual team.
The best part is, participants can set their own target and track their kilometres using Fitbit or Strava and connect their app of choice to their online fundraising page.

Camp Quality Week
In September 2021, we celebrated our inaugural Camp Quality Week, where we aimed to raise $1 million for kids facing cancer. On September 25 we released a range of Special Buy products, with each purchase from this range a donation will be made to Camp Quality. Customers also had the option to donate in-store via our registers or online.
We’re thrilled to announce that through the support of ALDI, our employees, business partners and customers we achieved our Camp Quality Week goal - raising $1.03 million for kids facing cancer. This support means 1,200 Aussie kids dealing cancer will have the opportunity to attend a camp hosted by Camp Quality - giving them a vital break and the chance to just be kids again and create positive memories.
