ALDI TARGET
- Educate 40,000 school children to improve their health and wellbeing through our Enrich program with Barnardos Australia by 2019
- Promote healthy lifestyle and healthy eating for customers
- Promote healthy activity in children through our Mini Roos partnership
- Introduce a set of consistent and prominent on-pack logos for health claims
- Reformulate products to reduce sugar, salt and saturated fat, and to increase fibre, protein and FVNL% (fruits, vegetables, nuts and legumes) in products

- Assess viability of solar panels across our distribution centres and stores

ALDI TARGET
- Develop a concise sustainable packaging guide for buying teams and suppliers based on Australian Packaging convenant's sustainable Packaging Guidelines
- Support the Detox commitment and aim to eliminate 11 hazardous chemical groups across the entire lifecycle of our textiles and footwear products by 2020
- Remove the use of microbeads across the supply chain by the end of 2017
- Source leather for our footwear from tanneries certified to LWG certification
- Any product or packaging that uses wood-derived materials must be either FSC or PEFC certified, or made of at least 70% recycled materials
- Drive improved chemical management throughout our supply chain via the Business Environmental Performance Initiative

- Support One Voice to provide a mobile shower service to homeless people in every state in Australia

- Reduce our carbon footprint by 30% by 2020
- Reduce GHG emissions by 30% per m2 of sales floor space

- Continue working in China and Bangladesh with suppliers to improve the social standards within the supply chain
- Conduct Social Monitoring Program (SMP) throughout our food supply chain, including Thailand and Australian fresh produce, fresh meat and poultry providers
- Conduct SMP throughout our labour supply chain, including labour service providers and container freight stations

- Source 30% of coffee responsibly by 2020

- Support Barnardos Australia to keep vulnerable children safe from abuse
